Everyone leaves! - 19/12/02

All of the Bunnies, Amigos and the rest of the Campus Idiots have packed up and gone home for Christmas. So there won't be any news updates until Cheese's New Year's Eve party. The streets of Kenton are now safe, for a couple of weeks at least!

Mock Christmas Day! - 16/12/02

On Monday we decided to have a mock Christmas Day. We had the full works; Christmas dinner, arguments and even The Muppets Christmas Carol. Cheese bought a massive turkey and with the help of Anie (and the hindrance of everyone else), prepared a delicious meal for 16 people!

The lucky members of the Bunny Mansion were woken up at 10am by Christmas music and everyone else had a Christmas wake up call from Luan. Anie was the first to arrive and was soon followed by Darragh, Fizzy, Mark, Amelia, Shane, Villain, Jessica, Angela, Dene, and Stephane. Andy appeared for an hour but unfortunately had to leave with a packed lunch because of a "crisis meeting" at Grays.

While we waited for dinner, we watched Christmas themed videos and had a mini karaoke including the classic Flying Without Wings. After our meal, we played party games including a really crap Pass The Parcel (blame Angela) and the most violent game of Musical Chairs ever.

There were emotional goodbyes as Stephane, Angela and Viren left for months. In our typical style, we caused a massive scene by chanting and running after the cabs as they left. Drunk Barry and Eduardo also put in appearances in the evening. The biggest shock of the day was when the no-shows Hannah and Laura showed up at 11pm. They came brandishing biscuits so all was forgiven.

They day ended with everyone falling asleep to the sound of Eduardo and Darraghs 213th rendition of My Love.

Angelas birthday! - 14/12/02

Another fool decided to have a birthday in December when nobody has any money. This time it was Angela Bananas 20th. In typical Angela style it was a lazy day spent shopping, watching TV and eating takeaway. Happy birthday Angela you monkey.

Goodbye! - 13/12/2002

Emotions were high as we all had to say goodbye until, well, Monday. But some people are trying to leave until February and well miss them all loads! The place just isnt the same without Anthi, Grace, Simon and the international students. We also had to say goodbye to the legend that is American Tony, who is leaving forever. But he promised to come back and see us during Spring Break. Whenever that is.

Its Christmas! - 12/12/2002

Area 51 held its legendary Christmas party (well, it was good last year) and the majority of BAMS all went on the razz all in the name of Christmas. It was a classic session despite Ed Frith trying to ruin the atmosphere by playing trance music all night. We wanted more Slade! Santa was also there handing out crap gifts (Natalie Imbruglia CDs) but he looked suspiciously familiar, like he had sold us chocolate in the past.

Santa is a legend! - 11/12/2002

A big group of us hit Central and headed down to Harrods who surprisingly let us in to meet Santa. He encouraged us to get drunk, move to Russia to avoid the student loans company and to leave him a pint of whisky on Christmas Eve as the reindeers do all the steering. To see the picture of us with Santa, click here. He was better than the one in Hamleys that clocked off early to feed the reindeer. Any excuse.

Anthis birthday! - 10/12/2002

On Tuesday it was the 20th birthday of everybodys favourite Popstar, Anthi. She had a good one despite complete the bunnies being complete no-shows to her night out at the Hippodrome. Anthi, were really, really sorry. We totally crashed and burnt after a late night cramming in Globalization work. Happy birthday Anthi!

The boys are saved! - 6/12/02

In an amazing u-turn, Lesley has let the boys stay in the Amigo Pad! They can stay on the condition they actually pay the rent but Darraghs out for good. So its all back to the boys for shandies! If anyones interested, theres a room going, but dont all rush at once

Lex is the magic champion! - 5/12/02

Magic Friday returned and Alexis won for the second week running. She was lagging for most of the day behind Anie and Anthi who were both well away the previous night in Area and Luan also did the near impossible and worked the magic with her nomination, Norah Jones Girl.

Alexis pulled it out of the bag at the Faking It night in Area and scored points for chatting up the bouncer, a girl and her nomination (the very unapproachable Nice Ginger Girl) all in the last 20 minutes! She stole the game with 50 points. Cheese was a bit rubbish at the whole thing and only wanted to work the magic with her Mark. Aww

Drunk Barrys birthday! - 4/12/02

Drunk Barry turned 26 on Thursday the 4th. It was all down to the James Joyce, bar and Area (despite it being some crappy International Student Night). Happy birthday Baz!

The boys are homeless! - 3/12/02

Its a sad day for South Kenton as the Amigo Pad is no more. Lesley the landlord has finally had enough of the non-rent paying boys and has thrown them out on their ears. Marks going back to Deptford (not much change there), Darragh is heading off on the ½ mile trek back to Kenton, and Simon and Villain will be staying at the Bunny Mansion until the Christmas holidays. If anyones interested, 93 Thirlmere Gardens is now up for grabs, but just watch out for the beds

Chico returns! - 3/12/02

After at least 3 months absence, the legend that is Chico returned to the Undercroft and brought karaoke back into our lives. Despite a poor showing by the flop freshers, a good time was had by all. Chico was looking smooth in a snazzy leather jacket and even brought his mistress along. Charlie Wong came down to wow us with his vocal talents and even notorious no-shows Hannah and Laura made an appearance.

As is standard procedure at karaoke, we all got very drunk on Aftershock, sang some pretty shocking songs (Louise and Eds Macarena was a particular highlight), started some rumour mills and even dropped by the James Joyce lock in on the way home, despite certain people being barred.

Frosty arrives! - 2/12/02

A moment of madness whilst in Homebase meant the girls came home with an 8ft inflatable, illuminated snowman and £50 worse off. However, Frosty is settling in well and has even attracted admiration from the neighbours. He has also recovered well from attempted attacks from Darragh and Drunk Barry. Frosty will be present to welcome guests at the Bunnies upcoming Christmas party next Wednesday.
