Recruit Week = crash and burn!
Wa-hey, we're back. When did we leave? Two days in and Recruit Week has
crashed and burnt. The follow up game to Magic Friday had not caught on and for some reason no one seems to be visiting the
Bunny Mansion. Instead, the girls have created a Yurpz chart and are on the prowl in the countdown for a Valentines Day date.
Saints and Sinners!
The fashion students put on another classic night and was a great reason
to go on the first proper raz of the semester. The bunnies came out in full angel attire, but no one was fooled.
The raz was proceeded by a visit to Cant Deny It's rocking birthday party.
Luan came out as a lesbian but was just called a fool by the rest of the Idiots as they thought she was trying to recreate
a certain former munyen.
The night ended with Alexis and Laura having an argument outside Area as
to who is the best Laura. That bitch is going down, just watch this space.
Club 99!
Another raz! Its just two days since we were last at Area, and how we missed
it. Darragh has proved himself as the new no show king as he didn't show up for the second time this week. Some rubbish excuse
about being stuck in Stratford.
Louise started the raz at 5pm by sitting in the bar all evening with a bunch
of randoms and drank one too many Quadkas and was pissed by 7:30. Luan also provided PhD and seminar legends Winston and the
Tazman with a treat by accidentally flashing them in an alleyway.
Mark and Alexis now fear for their young lives after accidentally angering
Headmistress Kim by throwing pistachios at the bar staff (just Laura, no one cares) and messing with the shutters. Alexis
and Laura continued their war, but Alexis is blatantly destined to win.
The boys get a new flatmate!
Despite broken beds, court appearances and letters from the council some
fool actually agreed to move into the Amigo pad.
He is the lovely Scouse Ben, from some random media related course like
CMP or MMA. He is an exciting new addition to the Amigo pad and has brought along digital telly, a DVD player and a large
porn collection for the boys enjoyment.
Bunnies are criminals yet again!
The Bunny Mansion has been caught up in some kind of gas swindling crime
circle started by the evil Nela. Court summons and bailiffs are mentioned ala the boys, but all we really care about is the
pilot light going out again and there not being enough hot water for Clare to wash her hair in.
Bar Antics!
It began as a civilised evening watching the England match but after Australias
second goal we got bored of the footie and turned our attention to a very interesting slanging match between the first (bunch
of cunts) and second (they won 5-1) university football teams.
It has to be said that the seconds greatly out did the firsts on everything,
though it was probably due to the help of Alexis and Louise, who also helped build the tower of empty beer cups that at last
count reached over 70.
Lovalicious!
Another one of those great Ghetto Society nights at Area, this time the
main attraction was the boy and girl auction. Anie bid on a man and won but soon got very tired of all that champagne and
pampering and rejoined the crew.
Sweater boy left the shop (but sadly not the sweaters) behind and joined
the idiots for a great raz. Darragh was once again a massive no show, as was Alexis; in fact it was just Louise, Luan, the
Villain, Clare and a bunch of freshers representing, but Laura No Show did us proud behind the bar.
Valentines Party!
Being a bunch of dateless idiots (but thanks for the cards Louise, it is
a shame I'm married), we were forced to spend Valentines Day at good old Area 51. Actually, we wouldnt have missed it
for the world, as it was the return of the best band in the whole world Superfly.
The usual merriness was added to by Luan attempting to throw her knickers
at Superfly but instead throwing them straight in to the hands of a certain Welfare Officer. Alexis also managed to go on
the yurpz big time and got Valentine's kisses off 24 different people.
Another classic night, despite no shows from Darragh (no surprise), Mark
and Louise (but they have relationships so well forgive them). Alexis and Laura got into the Valentines Day spirit and put
and end to their war; we always knew she was the best.
All in all, a successful Valentines Day was had by all; and the in the wise
words of a random, Area 51 would make a perfect boyfriend, it will always have our everlasting commitment.
